For the stove to be placed in the right place, a floor that can withstand fire will be required. The grill must be set at least three inches from the wall and away from areas where there is a risk of fire. A pellet stove has both an intake and exhaust vent. The exhaust vent is linked with an exhaust pipe. To let smoke escape, a hole needs to be made into the wall. To guard the walls against the heat pipe from the stove, wall thimbles may be found on each side of the wall. For added security, cover the wall with insulation the pipe running along the wall. Apply silicon caulk on the wall’s edges on the thimble for waterproofing purposes. Create a second hole to accommodate the fresh air intake pipe at a distance of 12 inches from the pipe for exhaust. Install the mounting plate on the wall. The pipe needs to be attached with the pellet.

The stove should be connected then fill the hopper with pellets, and verify that it’s functioning properly.
